7 Mar

The Carolina Fascinators are gearing up for another performance and fundraising endeavor, this time at the Triangle Swing Dance Society swing dance on March 12 at the Carrboro Century Center, featuring the traditional jazz sounds of the New King Rippers. We will be selling our lovely hair flowers, as well as bottled water, Gatorade, Vitamin Water, and (with vintage flair) Coca Cola in a bottle. Bring some cash so you can stay …fresh with our refreshments, or at least look refreshed with one of our hair flowers!

We will also be auctioning off a lovely 1940′s reproduction jumper and cherries blouse, which was generously donated by Etsy seller Time Machine Vintage. The jumper and blouse will be on display at The Carolina Fascinators table at the dance and we will take bids on the silent auction until 11:00 p.m. If you are the winner, you can leave with a brand new outfit! Details about the garments, sizing, the auction and photographs of the outfit can be found on the Lindy Shopper blog: http://lindyshopper.com/2011/03/07/1940s-reproduction-jumper-and-cherries-blouse-fundraiser-for-the-carolina-fascinators/

Come out, show your support, and see what all the fundraising is going to support!
