The 2nd Half! A Big Apple Workshop with The Carolina Fascinators – September 10, 2011

24 Jul

The Carolina Fascinators are excited to present a workshop that will solidify the second half of the Big Apple in your muscle memory, enhance your solo jazz performance skills, and incorporate the jazz movement of the Big Apple into your social dancing. This is the Big Apple as choreographed by Frankie Manning and performed by Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers in the movie “Keep Punching.”

Only $20! See the link below for details!

About the workshop:  2nd Half of the Big Apple, 12:30-2:30 p.m.

The second half is the hardest part of the Big Apple to remember – if you’ve taken a Big Apple class you spent most of your energy learning the first half and there wasn’t quite enough time to really learn the second half. Instead of rushing through it, we’ll spend the class time breaking down each movement of the second half. We’ll have time to practice it so that you can focus on actually learning it, retaining the information, and working on your performance skills.

If you have any questions, please email Laura Windley at caab241@hotmail.com.

Hope to see you there!
